Delete Your Account

This page is for drivers who use the AI Car Parking app on Google Play or the web app at park.aicarparking.co.uk. Both are provided by AI Car Parking Ltd and use the same account.

• Step 1: send an e-mail to alex@aicarparking.co.uk from the e-mail address you use to sign in to the app.
• Step 2: use the subject “Delete my account”.
• Step 3: we confirm by e-mail and complete the deletion within one month, as UK data protection law requires.

If you can no longer use that e-mail address, tell us. We will check that the account is yours in another way before we delete anything.

• your account and sign-in details, including your name and e-mail address
• the vehicles saved in your account
• payment cards saved for faster payment, which we ask our payment provider, Stripe, to remove
• app preferences linked to your account

The law requires us to keep some records after your account is deleted:

• payment records and receipts, for 6 years, to meet UK tax and accounting rules
• parking session and parking charge records for a vehicle, while a parking charge, an appeal or a legal claim can still be open, and for no longer than 6 years
• a record of your deletion request, to show that we completed it

These records are stored securely, are only used for these purposes and are never used for marketing.

You can also ask us to delete some of your data without closing your account, for example a saved vehicle or a saved card. E-mail alex@aicarparking.co.uk from the address you sign in with and tell us what to remove.
